Every wedding season embraces its own unique trends, often heavily influenced by Instagram and Pintrest! I often say that trends can be used as a guide to help you in deciding what direction to go if you are unsure, but they should not decide what you choose to do. Every year I closely follow the latest hairstyle trends for the upcoming season to educate myself and guide my brides in the right direction when choosing their style!
trending: Clean Texture
My saved hair inspo for 2026 weddings can be described in three words: refined, classic, effortless. The styles are clean and simple often with soft face framing with a natural amount of volume. The trending styles range from updos to soft glam waves! Here are some of the clean-textured styles I have in my saved folder:

These are styles I have recently done embracing a simple look with clean texture & natural volume. There are so many other beautiful trending styles that also incorporate a clean texture look. These are a few to keep in mind either for you, the moms, or your bridesmaids inspo!
the trending curl: Bouncy & Uniform

The trending curls are soft and bouncy with a more uniform look. In order to achieve this type of curl, there are a few things that can be done prior to getting your hair styled! Having long layers helps to achieve the volume & natural movement that we see in more recent styles. These curls naturally come with more volume which helps to create fullness and helps to hold the style throughout the day. Adding clip-in extensions are the best way to add fullness and more security to the curls!
How to Choose your style (Trends or no trends):
Regardless of what styles are trending, finding and choosing the right hairstyle can feel overwhelming which is why focusing on what you are comfortable with helps to makes narrow down your options!
Here are a few factors to consider when deciding:
Dress style
You do not have to base your hairstyle off of your dress, you should base it off of your comfort level! Are you comfortable with your back showing? Do you want hair to cover your shoulders? Basing your hairstyle on your dress is not something that should overlook your level of comfort.
The season
This is something important to consider if you have an outdoor ceremony or reception! If your wedding is in the Spring, consider the level of humidity that could be present or if you are in the Summer months keep the heat in mind!
Decide on your comfort level
You will be the one be wearing your hair all day, so choose a style that feels comfortable and secure. It is always necessary to do a hair trial to see how you feel wearing the style! It is always ok to ask others what they think, but ultimately it is what you are comfortable with and what you are confident in!
The conclusion?
Regardless of the trends for the upcoming wedding season, you should choose what you feel will fit with you and your wedding look. Trends can help to serve as a guide for which direction to go, but beyond that, you should choose what fits you! Happy wedding planning!
